Merry Christmas!
Today when I woke up I was amazed to realize that Christmas is all over & very very soon 2009 will be here! It was an awesome Christmas for me & mine, and I’m really hoping it was great for everyone reading this. This year was the first year that Santa came to my house for Diego & Victor… it was VERY exciting! Diego woke up super excited… I thought he was going to run in yelling about santa, but instead he came in yelling for cookies. Oh well.. once he made the trip downstairs, cookies were the last thing on his mind. Here’s the last of my family stuff for now & soon I’ll actually post some photography goodies!
Play dough was at the top of the list for Santa to bring. He didn’t disappoint!

Oops! Upon closer inspection, what I thought was a toy vacuum cleaner appears to be a pitching machine of sorts. And it also appears that you have a budding carpenter on your hands, as well.

haha!! I am trying my best to teach them cleaning… but that’s not sticking too well! Destruction just comes so easy to them!

This, too, shall pass! I remember those days when I had 3 little boys making messes all the time. Eventually they got big enough to help out. (When they got a little older, any time they mentioned being “bored”, I wrote up a list of chores and had them pick 3 from the list - categorized from easy jobs to more difficult, and they had to pick one from each category. I think the word “bored” is now completely removed from their vocabulary!)
Now they’re all grown up, and I have to say that they do a pretty good job of keeping their living quarters clean. So, just try to enjoy the destruction for now, because they will be constructive and grown up all too soon!!! (I remember having older women tell me that when my boys were young, and I thought, “Yeah, right.” I have to admit that those women were right; time really does fly!)
